Alan Pardew Extremely Delighted With the Newcastle Performance

Sunday 26 August 2012: The manager of the team Newcastle, Alan Pardew, showed his extreme happiness at the outstanding performance of the team at Greece against Atromitos.

The European League had an exciting match where Newcastle battled Atromitos for a final draw match of 1-1 score line. The match brought immense satisfaction to Alan Pardew because outstanding performance and defense was shown by the team Newcastle. The new tactics of field adjustment learned by the young players of Newcastle at this 1-1 match were more of an asset as mentioned by Pardew.

The Premier League trip that will take place at Chelsea made Pardew to plan the team arrangements in a new way. The European league hence saw the Newcastle team with Adam Campbell as a substitute. Adam Campbell is reported to be youngest Newcastle Player opting for a match at Europe. Other members included James Tavernier, who is twenty years old, Gael Bigirmana, who is eighteen years of age.

Alan Pardew said: “Keeping a steady pace is difficult during the game. I have also played several matches so I can tell from my experience that one may give wrong moves and passes due to performance pressure. Today’s match had no loopholes although a bit of devil was missing. Nevertheless, I am extremely proud of my team.”

During the victory against Tottenham where the score line was 2-1, the striker has been reported to remain at position for long seventy five minutes. During this time, Alan Pardew looked for a winning performance giver. This happened when the opener of Denis Epstein was technically cancelled out with a free kick by Ryan Taylor which happened during first half of the match.

Since Cisse had to leave the match, Adam Campbell, who was the youngest player of the match took his place and showed an outstanding performance during the last 15 minutes of the match. “Cisse’s protection by cutting down his work rate was tried by the team. I am very proud of Newcastle and particularly Adam Campbell” – Pardew remarked.
